How to Receive Cash-In Remittance

on the CIMB Bank PH App

STEP 1

Select "Remittance" on the CIMB Bank PH Dashboard.

STEP 2

 

On the remittance screen, select "Receive Money."

STEP 3

Choose which remittance partner you are receiving funds from.

STEP 4

Indicate the MCTN, Amount, Details of the Sender, and other needed information.

STEP 5

Review the details of the transaction and confirm by agreeing to the terms.

STEP 6

Enter your MPIN.

STEP 7

Congratulations! The remittance will instantly be credited to your CIMB Bank PH Savings Account.

 

How to Send Remittance via Remitly

STEP 1

On the Remitly app, select "Send" on the bottom center of the main page to begin sending.

STEP 2

Choose type and amount of currency for conversion to PHP, method of delivery as cash pick-up, and payment to be sent. Then select "continue."

STEP 3

Enter the recipient's details and other relevant information. Then select "continue."

STEP 4


Following your delivery method, select CIMB Bank PH as the pick-up location. Then select "continue."

STEP 5


Verify that the transaction details are accurate. Information placed will have to be used by the CIMB Bank PH receiver when claiming.

STEP 6


Congratulations! Your remittance transfer has been completed. Ensure to share transaction and MTCN details to CIMB Bank PH recipient.

 

How to Send Remittance via Ria

STEP 1

 

On the Ria app, select "Start a transfer" on the main page to begin sending remittance.

STEP 2

Select Philippines as the country that you will be sending money to. 

STEP 3

Type the currency and amount that you want to send, method to pay for transfer, and delivery method as “Cash pickup”. Then select "continue."

STEP 4

Enter the recipient's name, location, and mobile number. Then select "continue."

STEP 5

Following your delivery method, select “Collect at Any Ria Partner.”  

STEP 6

Verify that transaction details are accurate. Information placed will be used by the CIMB Bank PH receiver when claiming.

STEP 7

Input additional recipient and your sender information. Then select "continue."

STEP 8

Congratulations! Your remittance transfer has  been completed. Ensure to share transaction and MTCN details to CIMB Bank PH recipient.

When receiving cash pick-up remittance sent to your CIMB Bank PH account through the app, there will be no transaction fees.​

Are there transaction limits when receiving a cash pick-up remittance on my CIMB Bank PH account?

 

The following are transaction limits for receiving cash pick-up remittance:​

  • Maximum Php 50,000 receive per cash pick-up remittance​.
  • Cumulative maximum of Php 500,000 cash pick-up remittance per day​.
    ​

*Any cash pick-up worth Php 50,000 cannot be received on the CIMB Bank PH app.

What should I know when receiving cash pick-up remittance on my CIMB Bank PH account?

 

When receiving cash pick-up remittance sent to your CIMB Bank PH account, be sure to know the following details:​

  • MTCN Number​
  • Expected Amount of Remittance​
