The Data and Applications Engineer will play a significant role in constructing the analytic infrastructure of CIMB PH Risk Management Department. In coordination with units under Risk Data & Analytics, other Risk Departments, and concerned business units, the Data and Applications Engineer will develop and maintain databases, applications, networking configuration, and other relevant reporting capabilities that will allow Risk Department to support strategic initiatives of the business, particularly activities necessary for risk analytics, reporting and machine learning. Moreover, to ensure effective functionality of Risk Management department's analytic and reporting infrastructure's, the Data and Applications Engineer is responsible for managing related resources, security, and BCP.
1. Develop and maintain Risk Management Department's analytic and reporting infrastructure while providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
2. Manage necessary resources that will allow Risk Management Department's analytic and reporting infrastructure to function effectively.
3. Communicate with relevant parties and departments to source necessary data from the Bank's systems.
4. Construct and maintain a risk database by performing extract, transform, and load (ETL) activities.
5. Develop necessary applications that will aid in the ETL process, risk analytics, and reporting.
6. Perform tasks necessary to oversee network and digital security related to Risk Management Department's analytic and reporting infrastructure.
7. Develop necessary software to support Risk Management initiatives.
8. Other duties that may be assigned from time to time
