Job Description

• Identifies requirements for the data lake project, especially on data storage, capacity, computational specs, and high availability/data redundancy set-up Stakeholder Management and Networking

• Supports the Technology and Risk team in ensuring that DM servers, cloud instances, applications, and systems meet policies and regulatory requirements

• Builds and deploys end to end data flows to ensure datamart automations on cloud and improve ease of accessibility of data for reporting / visualization, analysis and machine learning for data scientists

• Collaborates with vendors, partners, and regional counterparts to share best practices as well as implement joint initiatives on cloud and in premise data instances  

• Develop in-house tools, ETL processes  that are no available in the open-source repositories or in commercial solutions

• Supports and mentors the DCORO in the timely implementation and execution of action items relating to the RCSA, CET, CIMs, and IRs

• Recommends and drives the implementation of best practices so that DE solutions have the appropriate controls to manage operational risk

• Represents the Business and Strategy - Data and Reporting department in engagements AML, Compliance, Risk, and Audit, and collaborates within the team so that such engagements are brought to closure.

• Supports any data quality issues and any related/initiated activities• Work closely with Products and Marketing team and support base generation for the different promos / campaigns of the bank

• Create an overall marketing and non-marketing calendar to monitor schedule and ensure timely sendouts

• Collaborates with the Regional and Philippines Data Engineering and Infrastructure Teams to implement and automate scripts for base generation

• Reports to the Campaigns Team Lead and supports the rest of the DSM Team members in meeting the departmental KPIs and objectives

•Do campaign base sizing with waterfall of base drop-offs prior launch of each promo/campaign

• Do analysis on campaign performance and metrics during the actual campaign to be reported to the stakeholders

• Generate a post-campaign report and analysis to apply learnings in the next campaigns

• Support end to end process on promo fulfillments - from eligible base generation until crediting of incentives or sending the base to the end user

•Support promo related OTRS tickets (Customer inquiry/complaints)

• Utilizes a variety of applications, such as SAS, SQL, R, PowerBI, Tableau, and/or QlikSense

• Writes scripts to query data, join tables, aggregate and transform data

Qualification

• Graduate of BS in Computer Science, Industrial/Management Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any related field

• At least 3-5 years experience in data operations in cloud, database management, testing, quality and/or data governance

• Knowledgeable in ETL development on cloud platforms like AWS, Alibaba etc.

• Expertise in Database Management and optimization Cloud and In prem infrastructures  (SQL, Hadoop, Hive)

• Experienced in documentation and data quality tools

• Knowledgeable on Business Intelligence Tools (Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau)

• SQL(Must),  Python, Bash/Shell scripting

• Stakeholder and project management
