• The AML QA Manager's primary role is to guarantee the effective operation of the organization's AML program in strict compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, the manager is tasked with overseeing the adherence to internal AML Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the bank.
• Managing AML QA Team
• Act as the Department DCORO which includes raising, monitoring and closing of CIMs, CETs and RCSA
• Develop and implement a robust AML quality assurance program to evaluate the effectiveness of AML processes and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Design and execute quality assurance reviews, assessments, and audits.
• Keep abreast of new changes or revision of regulations and applies into Analytics library; i.e. maintenance of analytics scripts, versioning controls.
• Keep abreast of new and emerging trends in audit/ testing methodologies relating to robotic process automation, continuous audit and agile audit and evaluate how this can be better achieved in the QA process through use of data analytics
• Embed advance Data Analytics algorithm and/or data modelling into existing dataset; i.e. Machine Learning for Prediction Modelling based on patterns, Clustering to identify outliers
• Ensure AML processes and procedures comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate with compliance team to stay current on regulatory changes and updates
• Conduct regular QA of AML processes, systems, and documentation to identify areas for improvement and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of QA processes, findings, and recommendations.
• Prepare and present reports on the results of QA reviews to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in AML processes and QA methodologies.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the overall effectiveness of the AML QA program.
• Responsible for conducting recon activities
• Handle gap analysis in line with regulatory issuances
• Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
